Youth For People (@YFPINDIA) is a registered Non-profit NGO operating in India since 2006. As an organization YFP mobilizes the youth energy for the greater good of the society and humanity at large. We are a cause independent group, we identify a pain area which needs attention & assistance and focus all our efforts towards it. We have undertaken several projects throughout our 8+ years of existence, however the ones closest to our heart are the ones related to Education of Children in Rural Areas and Women's Safety in Public Transportation.Project Nareshwadi, WARR (War Against Railway Rowdies) are some of our successful campaigns that captured public and media imagination. Currently we are working on Project Mokhada. Since late 2013 we've been helping children in Mokhada MH, INDIA by donating blankets every winter and Notebooks at the beginning of school year. We plan to replicate the success we achieved in Nareshwadi, a school for Tribal children that was struggling to survive back in 2006, where we focused all our energy to help children in Nareshwadi get better education through awareness campaigns, project specific donation drives and nudging corporate citizens to adopt Nareshwadi as part of their CSR initiative.We are proud to say that through our concerted efforts and generous donations from all sections of the society, as off 2013 Nareshwadi has a vocational training center, computer lab, a new school building and better living facilities for tribal kids who spend their school year over there.
