Nonprofit Organization Management - Kuala Lumpur, Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
Through organizing monthly talks and campaigns to raise awareness and fundraise, we actively bring like-minded youths together to collectively create a change towards a sustainable future for all of humanity. Our ongoing project, Project R.I.G.H.T.S. (Refugee Initiative: Giving Hope Through Support), involves a collaboration with the non-profit organisation, Greater Action. This project focuses on fundraising for the refugee community in Malaysia. We are currently organising a series of workshops, donation drives (for funds, food, and pre-used devices), a talk series, and more. Until today, we have successfully raised more than RM10,000. We've also connected with esteemed individuals to guest in our monthly talks, including marine scientist Alvin Chelliah of Reef Check Malaysia, Alicia Teoh (co-founder of Shah Alam Community Forest Society), and Daniel Filgo (co-founder and director of operations of Green Welfare Indonesia). We have successfully generated great turn ups that included a lot of younger members from the age of 8.
