Youtorial is a web-based software training platform that allows anyone to learn from the best software experts in the world. Our unique platform is a true participation-oriented hands-on learning platform, offering massive improvements over watching typical software video tutorials in a web browser. Youtorial's mission is to make computer help helpful! Jobs are becoming increasingly technical, and advancements in software training have been relatively stagnant. Screencasting is spreading as the best way to visually show and explain complex computer actions, but the ability to follow along and actually learn from them remains very difficult. Our team has created a tutorial viewing platform that allows a student to actually follow along with a computer expert, at the student's pace, with little to no frustration and maximum interaction with the software they are trying to learn. We want to lower the barrier to entry for learning software so that people of all ages and proficiency levels can become experts themselves. Our platform can make even the most daunting tasks seem simple, and users of our platform feel accomplished after completing tasks alongside of an expert.
