The Yuba-Sutter Chapter of TIP Inc. was founded in 1994. Our responders serve two counties, 1250 square miles and 170,000 residents. We serve all of the emergency agencies and Adventist Hospital in the area . . . all 35 agencies! TIP provides immediate emotional and practical support to survivors of tragedy. Local residents are trained to be TIP Responders and are available on a 24/7/365 day basis to assist law enforcement, firefighters, paramedics, deputy coroners and hospital personnel. TIP people respond to support survivors of all types of tragedy some of which include sudden deaths, suicides, homicides, all types of accidents, drownings, victims of crimes, structure fires, and overdoses. TIP also supports travelers when tragedy occurs in the Yuba-Sutter area and they are far from home.TIP Yuba-Sutter is a Chapter of Trauma Intervention Programs Inc (tipnational.org) which was founded in San Diego County in 1985. There are currently 13 regional chapters in the nation serving over 250 cities.
