YWCA Nevada is an affiliate of YWCA USA, and the first and only YWCA in Nevada--established here in Las Vegas in November of 2014. YWCA Nevada serves to strengthen our local community and help families by offering technical assistance, training, organizing advocacy efforts and standing up for social justice.For over 150 years, YWCA has been at the forefront of the most critical social movements, from racial justice and civil rights, to affordable housing and pay equity, to violence prevention and health care reform. YWCA Nevada is on a mission to eliminate racism, empower women, stand up for social justice, help families and strengthen our community. YWCA Nevada is part of an international movement serving over 2 million in the United States and 25 million worldwide.
