ZFI has entered into a partnership with Indiana University Lilly Family School of Philanthropy to fund up to ten (10) students to enroll and complete eighteen (18) graduate credit hours that lead to the Graduate Certificate in Philanthropic Studies from Indiana University as part of the ZFI Fellowship Program. Students will also receive a Graduate Certificate in Muslim Philanthropy and Humanitarian Studies from ZFI. All course credits can be used towards the MA in Philanthropic Studies at Indiana University should the student be accepted into the program and receive the appropriate required grades.To be eligible for the scholarship funding students must agree to the following:- They will complete all courses required by the ZFI Fellowship in the order prescribed.- Students must take all required and prescribed elective courses below:- Nonprofit and Voluntary Sector- Principles and Practices of Fund Raising- Applying Ethics in Philanthropy- Muslim Philanthropy- Muslim Philanthropy and Humanitarian Sector in Crisis- Directed Readings that will lead to requirements # 3 below- Students will complete a book chapter (4500-5000 words) about a topic related to Muslim philanthropy and humanitarian studies and a policy or practice brief (2000-2500 words) that will be published by ZFI- Take part in a monthly webinar organized by ZFIAll courses required by this program are available online.Students must apply and be accepted by both, ZFI and Indiana University Lilly Family School of Philanthropy, to be eligible for funding from ZFI. ZFI pays for the tuition for ten (10) students to complete this program annually.
