Zaxie Films is a film production company dedicated to producing original, thought-provoking work that utilizes the diverse talents of the Chicago film community. In October 2010, Zaxie Films premiered its inaugural production, Typing, at the Chicago International Film Festival. A short comedy about the creative process and the dangers of casual racism, Typing features SNL alumni Tim Kazurinsky and Steppenwolf Theater ensemble member Francis Guinan.
