The Zayed Institute is a non-profit making organization, with its first dedicated facility in Abu Dhabi, whose purpose is to provide scientists and inventors with a culturally sympathetic environment in which they can develop new inventions and technologies.The aim of the Zayed Institute will be to become a world-leading research centre, advancing the fields of science and technology across a multitude of disciplines. It has been created specifically to bring together the brightest and most insightful minds in the world.The Zayed Institute will enter into alliances with leading corporations, academic institutions and research & laboratory facilities from around the world.The Zayed Institute will establish itself as a world class centre for research and development open to peoples from all cultures, particularly those from the Developing World.The Zayed Institute is committed to supporting those who attempt to bring unconventional thinking into traditional and well-established fields of scientific research.The Zayed Institute will cover a wide range of scientific disciplines through the establishment of its four departments: Information Technology, Environmental Sciences, Life Sciences and Physics & Materials.The Zayed Institute will provide for and protect its Members and their interests according to the terms of its' Members' Charter.
