The Zaytoun initiative label is an idea who's time has come! Our label allows citizens of the world to mobilise on the Palestinian issue by allowing them to express their opinions through their consumption choices. The label 'Zaytoun-Initiative' is open to all companies who want to support this initiative. It entails a commitment not to purchase nor to sell to Israel, for as long as all the resolutions passed by the UN Security Council have not been applied. This commitment should appear on their products by means of the 'Zaytoun initiative' label. A complementary objective is to encourage greater interaction in order to allow consumers to become better informed so as to lead to a dialogue between companies and their customers. It offers a way for everyone to bring their support to a movement seeking to enforce international law by expressing their opinion by favouring labelised products and services. The consumer therefore moves from a purely passive role to that of an activist expressing his values through his choice of products. This label aims at sensitizing opinion and campaigning for the search for a fair and just solution in order to bring about the application of the many resolutions passed by the world community which have so far proved still-born. Indeed the time has come to offer a credible alternative to everyone in the world who wants to express their support for international law ; it is key that all peoples, even the weakest, have rights, the violation of which should not remain unpunished
