ZEME Eco Metals & Eco Fuels Ltd, subsidiary of Egnedol Limited, is an innovative Cypriot company that aspires to make Cyprus a benchmark in environmental technology, research and innovation. Egnedol has developed a first of its kind globally integrated GREEN approach that offers a complete solution for Municipal Solid Waste (MSW) disposal, maximizing value recovery from its main components. AluminiumZEME is currently building in Cyprus a state-of-the-art and eco-friendly factory for the conversion of scrap aluminium to alloys. ZEME was granted by the Cypriot Government Bodies all Environmental and Planning Permits, for the Aluminium plant. The construction works on building facilities are at an advanced stage. The project is expected to be up and running within the second half of 2018. ZEME introduced first in Cyprus the electromagnetism recycling technology that produces specialized alloys with low energy consumption compared to conventional technologies and infinitesimal pollutants. The aluminium alloys produced will be sold to automotive industry, smart phones industry, space industry, and others. PlasticsIn a second phase, ZEME will develop a plant for the conversion of plastics into renewable liquid fuel. Permits for this unit are pending. The Proprietary Patented Plastics to Liquid fuel technology takes all types of plastics separated from Waste and converts them into various types of Fuel (e.g. Diesel) depending on the catalyst used. ZEME's Technology converts mixed Waste Plastics into synthetic fuels that are clean burning, low in sulphur and competitively priced. The System is highly efficient, while being versatile, taking in almost all types of waste plastics (including those contaminated with food). The technology has been developed and is fully patented in the United Kingdom. The technology is also cost-effective and requires minimal on-going maintenance.
