The two parties have been doing business for over 50 years.Asociación de Cooperativas Argentinas (ACA), Argentina's largest agricultural cooperative, which handles around 20% of the country's grain and oilseed production. ACA has agreed to provide grain exports to Zen-Noh (全農), Japan's National Federation of Agricultural Cooperative Associations全农（ZEN-NOH，全称为全国农业协同组合联合会）每年船运的玉米、大豆、小麦等农产品总量达到约1200万吨，每年经全农之手出口的玉米、大豆、高粱总数达到1100万吨，是中国全国出口量的约20倍。1970年，全农参股的CGB公司在美国粮食主产区密苏里州的圣路易斯成立，当时只有3名职员。今天，CGB公司在全球有95个分支机构、超过1500名职员，业务领域包括向农户提供金融和风险管理服务，购买、存储、销售和运输农作物。在美国等内河航运领域，CGB公司仍然是市场份额最大的公司之一。除了CGB公司，全农在美国还设立了全农谷物公司，建设并且加强玉米船运的基础设施，同时全农在美国西海岸，还与美国最大的农业合作组织CHS合作建立了一套谷物采购和出口的系统。在美国之外，全农与阿根廷的ACA（供应玉米、大麦、高粱等）、巴西的COAMO（供应大豆、玉米）、澳大利亚的CBH（供应大麦、小麦、高粱、牧草等）和欧洲的INVIVO（玉米、大麦、小麦、甜菜等）等海外农业合作组织建立了合作关系。
