Zenphoto is a standalone media web CMS (Content Management System) for displaying photos, text, video, and many other content types. It is focused on photo and visual media display and ease of customization and use.It was started in 2005 by Tristan Harward in his spare time, and open-sourced (GPL) from the start. Since then, it has grown to hundreds of thousands of users worldwide, and a team of several developers, designers, and translators. It is still in active development.Zenphoto is written in PHP, HTML5, and JavaScript with various databases and runs on most standard web servers and hosting accounts.
