ZeoGas was founded in 2012 to clean up fuels and plastics production. These essential products support our quality of life but are traditionally refined from crude oil. ZeoGas employs proven best-in-class technologies to manufacture methanol in a single-product, linear process from natural gas to then manufacture gasoline, olefins and propylene, the building blocks of plastics. With its initial project shovel-ready near Port Arthur, Texas, ZeoGas is intent on developing a substantial portfolio of gas conversion assets wherever natural gas is prevalent and the local market is importing fuels and plastics refined from crude oil. Methanol is inherently free of sulphur and the other NOX/SOX complications of refining crude, making it and the fuels and plastics made from it both more environmentally considerate in production and use. Our current focus is a greenfield natural gas-to-methanol facility employing Air Liquide's proven MegaMethanolTM technology to be built by Wood managed by our owner's engineer Audubon Engineering with Primoris Service Corporation as the major civil subcontractor and ABB providing rotating equipment, electrification and automation and controls. World class partners collaborating on a viable, shovel ready project to "green up" fuels and plastics are hallmarks of this initial project.
