There are food rescue groups all over the country devoted to solving this problem. They rescue prepared food from restaurants and donate to homeless shelters and soup kitchens so that it reaches the needy. But sometimes, donation pick-ups are missed and the food ends up in the trash. The Zero Percent web and mobile apps help simplify the donating process for businesses and help improve pick-up efficiency for agencies.
