Ziad Akl & Partners is a multidiscipline architectural organization with extensive project experience and expertise. Based in Beirut, the firm has completed a wide variety of works in Lebanon as well as in France, Nigeria, Syria, Iraq, and Saudi Arabia.Based in Beirut, the firm has completed a wide variety of works in Lebanon as well as in France, Nigeria, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Syria, Iraq, and Bahrein.We strive to participate in the reconstruction of Lebanon, while combining modernity with tradition. We are currently involved in some of the country's most dynamic projects, including a 5-star Hotel with Philip Stark in Downtown Beirut, the urbanization of the public domain of the Beirut Central District with Jean Michel Wilmotte, and the public lighting master plan of the Beirut Central District with French specialist Louis Clair.Also we are currently working as Architects of record on the "Grand theatre Hotel" project in Downtown Beirut in collaboration with the lead Architect of this project, Sir Richard Rogers (RHS P) with the Arup for the technical aspects and with Lady Weinberg (Anoushka Hempel Design) for the Design.With Sir David Chipperfield, we are involved as local Architect in a huge residential project in BCD including 11 buildings.Our challenge is to create a UNIQUE IDENTITY for each project, taking into consideration the various economic, technical, cultural and environmental aspects.
