Now owned by the Behrakis Group who have over 40 years experience in the food supply industry, we offer a wide range of European inspired charcuterie and Australian smallgoods.Our inspired range includes naturally wood smoked and cured hams, gourmet sausages, traditional style cold cuts, bacon, terrines & other gourmet smallgoods.Just behind the outlet shop front of Ziggys is a state-of-the-art smallgoods factory. This is where our talented butchers with a wealth of experience and knowledge come together to create the flavoursome, delicious cold cuts and gourmet charcuterie products that our customers know and love. Our hams are traditionally smoked to provide the juicy, succulent texture and deep flavour that Ziggys is renowned for. Our smoked sausages and European inspired cold cuts are made using traditional recipes and we love to create new recipes for our fresh sausages and terrines.We take pride in our Tasmanian roots and always source prime Tasmanian-grown pork, lamb, chicken and beef first, before selecting other premium Australian-grown meat.With a dedicated and highly skilled team of butchers, we also offer wholesale Tasmanian meat and poultry, cut and sliced exactly to order.Our great range of fresh and value added products are now enjoyed in many restaurants, cafes, bars and hotels around Tasmania.
