Zilvermeer Productions is the Galaxy Studios Group production house and develops, produces and co-produces film and TV projects. It is the latest brand of the group and launches this spring its first productions.Managing director and Producer is Jacqueline De Goeij. She ran successfully the Antwerp production house Cri De Coeur and released in 2012 the Belgian feature film 'Allez Eddy!' by Gert Embrechts, this film won several international awards. Earlier, she produced for over 10 years quality drama for both TV and cinema and got an Academy Award nomination for best foreign film in 2002 for ‘Zus & Zo'. She recently co-produced ‘Chez Nous' (2013) ‘Wiplala' (2014) and ‘Michiel De Ruyter' (2015).Zilvermeer acts as a Pan European co-producer and continues to develop its position as a quality Benelux production house with a slate of international co-productions. Current co-productions include Knielen Op een Bed Van Violen, directed by Ben Sombogaart (NL Films), Trollie, directed by Gert Embrechts (Johan Nijenhuis & Co B.V.) and You Really Got Me, directed by Julien Temple (Recorded Picture Company).
