Zimbee is a free online service that makes it easy for you to collect money from multiple people for the things your group or cause needs.Zimbee was founded with the belief that more good things would happen every day if the process of raising and collecting money for all the small but important activities taking place in your community was easier than it currently is.The inspiration for Zimbee was informed by our own work on GiveToBenefit.com, a campaign-driven site that enlisted local merchants in the process of crowdfunding to help nonprofits and causes obtain high-quality goods, as well as the unsettling fact that most online fundraising campaigns – on even the biggest platforms – fail to meet their goals. We had a specific person in mind when we created Zimbee: The organizer. The person people rely on to collect money for the baseball team's post-playoff pizza party. Or to raise money for that holiday social at work. Or to build a fund for a plaque in the school lobby.
