Caring is our business. We seek to make an impactful change in society & we have already begun impacting that change through reaching out to over 2000 girls and women in just under 4 months. Our branded AuthentiCare sanitary pads are produced here in South Africa, we are a proudly South African brand. We thus distributed free and sponsored sanitary pads to the many women to amplify and communicate our caring message to the communities we aim to supply and satisfy. Our brand values are quality, affordability and accessibility of sanitary pads to all women in South Africa.Zinakenjalo Hygiene also known as ZKK Hygiene is a 100% black female owned company founded in May 2017. Our business offering is feminine hygiene products such as sanitary pads and pantyliners. These products are manufactured firstly with an intention to reach out to the estimated 5 million girls who miss school due to the lack of affordability for sanitary pads per Stats SA 2016 report. Our primary objective is to keep these girls at schools primarily the girls situated in deep rural areas. Strategic partnerships with the Department of Education Social Services were formed to identify and prioritize the schools where this need is too dire. We believe that sanitary pads or feminine hygiene products should not luxury products simply because women prioritize food products over feminine products. This compromises personal hygiene and puts their dignity at stake. Women have a right to dignified periods and that should not be determined by status or class. AuthentiCare, a caring brand aims to bridge the gap through offering quality products that are affordable and accessible to all. Women empowerment is also at the centre of our business, our passion is educating our girls about feminine hygiene, share menstrual educational tips and entrepreneurial talks when delivering sanitary pads at schools.
