Construction - İstanbul, İstanbul, Turkey
The school, which was built as the summer hunting lodge of the Crown Prince Yusuf Izettin Efendi, the son of the Sultan Abdulaziz in 1884, started to serve as a home-school for the martyrs in the Balkan, World and Canakkale Wars with the declaration of the Republic in 1923. Later he served as Hürriyet-i Ebediy Primary School and started teaching under the name of Yapı Usta School in 1939-1940 and started vocational education. Over the years, many buildings have been built on a 40-acre school estate. It was renamed as ISOV Technical and Industrial Vocational High School with the cooperation protocol signed between Istanbul Governorship and our Foundation in 2000. The most important feature of the school is that it trains technical personnel for the construction sector, which is vital for people. What disasters the constructions can cause if they are not done in accordance with the project and production standards are revealed in the recent earthquake disasters in our country and in the world. In addition to the loss of life, the financial damage to the country's economy is sufficient to build thousands of modern vocational schools. These disasters reveal to what extent the intermediate and high level technical staff trained in the construction sector should be trained adequately and consciously. In 2013, as the Istanbul Chamber of Industry Foundation, we made necessary contributions in activities such as ITEM sector fair, graduation day and graduation ceremony, which are the traditional organizations of the school. By providing support to the projects that are desired by the school management, it is aimed to reach the level of European Union standards of the education provided by the school, and to raise quality education and quality workforce by increasing the knowledge and experience of teachers.
