Zirka Dance Theater Details
Zirka Professional Dance Theatre is a dance group based in Beirut, Lebanon. It was created in 2009 by Yanina Antoury and led by the assistance of Karina Matar. Zirka grew since its creation to over 200 dancers with 7 instructors and has two other branches located in Hazmieh and in Sed El Bouchrieh. The Professional Dance School doesn't only teach students how to dance, but self-confidence, teamwork, friendship, and independence too. Zirka provides different types of dance styles such as Ballet, Hip-Hop, Jazz, Oriental, Contemporary, Gymnastics, Breaking, Latino and Creative Dancing. It participates in several festivals, weddings, outdoors, flash mobs, birthdays, and competitions (national and international) where it has won several prizes.Zirka organizes many shows, where it presents to dancers' families and friends their achievements throughout the year.Zirka is unique because not only did it become a recognized professional dance school in Lebanon, but also a family of inseparable dancers.
