Zoar Industries is an Ohio-based company that was created to support the energy market. The energy industry is a dichotomy of its own creation. In an industry whose purpose is to provide energy sources either in their raw form (coal, oil, gas, etc.) or power (electricity), its ironic at best that construction of infrastructure is nearly 100% reliant on new equipment. Each time a facility is upgraded, moved or closed-its rotating equipment is replaced with brand new tools. The old equipment is relocated to a salvage or maintenance facility where its final days are measure by the corrosion rate of its materials of manufacture. Every dollar spent has a corresponding green house gas emissions. Meaning that when industry replaces equipment before its end of life is reach with new equipment, the world pays a toll. Its naïve to think that the energy industry will change in the immediate future. However, everyday around the world an entrepreneur or small business is looking for a way to become more competitive.
