Hospital & Health Care - Douala, Littoral, Cameroon
Zoe Health Foundation is a non-governmental organization which focuses on the health needs of the underprivileged people, women empowerment and gender equality and quality education. The vision is for all underprivileged people to have access to Primary Health care and that they should have access to education and their women should be empowered to carry out sustainable activities. The Organization started work in 2018 but because of political instability in the country, we only got registered in 2020.The organization has reached out to at least 40,000 underprivileged people with about 200. Some of these projects include, mobile clinic health campaigns, marathons, school visitations to teach about first Aid skills and many more. In our mobile clinic project, we have planted three health centers in Internally Displaced Individuals Camps in Cameroon and trained nurses to attend to the health needs of the individuals when need arises. In 2021, we created a mobile clinic service to add to our existing Health Centres in Yassa and Bonaberi-Douala IDP camps where we provide them with good health, gender equality programs and education for the girl child.
