I am a zombie enthusiast who uses zombies to promote awareness. ZombieMarch.org is a subsidiary organization of KingZombie.com that has the primary goal of to raise awareness for local charities in Iowa City and Eastern Iowa. While we are not an official non-profit, all proceeds go toward the running of the event. Our charities change from year to year, many of the responsibilities remain the same. - Contact and work with local Iowa City and other local charities such as Table 2 Table - Organizes and work with volunteers - Create and send press releases - Promote the march using a variety of social networks and web 2.0 tools. - Contact local businesses for sponsorship - Work with sponsors and promote their support and businesses
