Zone Radio originally started as an internet radio station on 1 April 2011. We commenced our FM broadcast in November 2019 for the "Deep South" (refer Note below) in the Western Cape which has afforded us new opportunity to adapt the current model and begin trading commercially. We have become known as the Voice of the Valley and our global target audience is the approximate 68,000 people living in the Deep South, affectionately known as the Valley by the people living there. We are targeting a music loving audience between the ages of 25 and 65 who have a preference for adult contemporary music.
