In December of 2014, Zonoff secured funding from home security company ADT that valued the company at $130 million USD. In March of 2017, founder and CEO Mike Harris struck a deal to move all employees and technology to Ring, the video doorbell company. In 2018, Ring was acquired by Amazon for over $1 billion USD, and the original Zonoff technology and human capital now power Amazon's Home Automation solutions.
