Zoo Tec is an animation studio founded by Bart Kuipers & Elmar EversOne obsessed by painting and the other devoted to programming. On first sight their fascinations look nothing alike. But the years have proven that combining the two, opens a new world! One that fills a zoo with ideas, drawings and expressive feelings. The other feeling the strange need of solving math problems and fortunately also aiding technical support when trying to bring ideas and drawings to life. Having all bits and pieces of a Ferrari is pleasant, also having the right mechanic is priceless. That is how 3D animation was born at the Zoo Tec studio.3D Animation creates endless possibilities. Impossible camera moves, non-existing environments and yet to be fabricated products become reality. Still to be able to better elaborate what we do, we like to speak of three key elements.PresentationSomething can be both technically and theoretically perfect, but without the right presentation, it definitely can't reach its potential.ExplanationWe happened to come across lots of clients having trouble explaining a technique, a thought, a philosophy or just the way their tool or product works. Through animation we visualize the intangible and simplify complexity.EntertainmentStorytelling is what we think most important to every movie there is. Whatever purpose the animation has, it needs a good script or it becomes meaningless. Speaking of purposes, not everything has to have a long-term value. Sometimes you just want to sit and relax. Being entertained and watching something cool.
