Čigoja publishing is a renowned and respectable publishing and printing house, which first began operating in 1992. According to data published by the Serbian Chamber of Commerce, last year company ranked among the most respectable publishing businesses in Serbia.In time, publishing activities focused more on fiction, philosophy, theory, religion, history, sociology, etc. During its existence Čigoja publishing has published over thousand titles and made a few significant libraries, such as: Arahna (Worlds and domestic famous poets special editions), Orthography (history of Serbian language), Old Serbian Literature, Religions of the World, Silk Path (Chinese Culture Series), Modern Prose, Modern Psychiatry, Young writers, Reprints, and Hispanica (Spanish history novel edition), Portuguese (Portugal literature translations). Poetic edition has a prestige magazine in theory of literature Poetika that is formed by Serbian famous critic, professor and philosopher Leon Kojen. This is the only magazine in Europe that deals with such subject. Kojen is also the founder of edition Arahna in which he carefully makes a selection of finest Serbian and world's poets.As a responsible publisher, Čigoja publishing paid much attention to female writers and supported the young authors, so the Modern Prose and Young Writers edition are novels rich in quality and great short story novels. Besides that, Čigoja publishing considers poetry as the highest point in literature and the poets that are a part of publishing house are very respected and awarded in critic circles in the region. Čigoja publishing, until present, published 16 titles from China and about China, and by that, is the leader on that subject among publishers in its region. Of special importance to us is collaboration with CRI (China Radio International) and Zhejiang Publishing United Group, a contract was made for translating and publishing 10 titles about Chinese culture and mutual cooperation...
