IEIS was established in 1964 to improve and bolster business conditions of its members and to contribute to the development of healthcare policies in Turkey.Pharmaceutical production is the primary activity of our local and multinational members. We cater to a diverse group of companies with different business interests stretching from originator products to branded generics, manufacturing and importing of pharmaceuticals and active ingredients, marketing of biological products (blood products, vaccines, etc.) as well as contract manufacturers.IEIS is the member of; Turkish Confederation of Employer Associations Foreign Economic Relations Board European Generic Medicines Association Association of the European Self-Medication Industry andis a signatory party to the UN Global Compact***İEİS, 1964 yılında üyelerinin çalışma koşullarını iyileştirmek, sağlık politikalarının gelişmesine katkıda bulunmak amacıyla kurulmuştur. İEİS'in ulusal ve çokuluslu üyelerinin temel faaliyet alanını ilaç üretimi oluşturmaktadır. İEİS, referans üründen eşdeğer ürüne, ilaç ve etkin madde üretiminden ithalatına, biyolojik ürünlerin (kan ürünleri, aşılar vb.) hastalara sunulması ve fason üretime kadar geniş ve farklı çalışma alanlarındaki firmalara hizmet vermektedir. İEİS, Türkiye İşveren Sendikaları KonfederasyonuDış Ekonomik İlişkiler KuruluAvrupa Eşdeğer İlaç BirliğiAvrupa Reçetesiz İlaç Üreticileri Birliği üyesi,Küresel İlkeler Sözleşmesi (Global Compact) katılımcısıdır.
