A society that would take care of providing assistance during all the miseries both in peace and in war.The first Red Cross Society in the territory of our municipality was founded in Morovic in 1921. As the initiator - the founder is mentioned doctor dr. Nikola Popović. Individuals and groups of Shiyan are organized by the Red Cross on the initiative of meat doctors and a number of citizens, primarily those who experienced the difficulties of war and other disadvantages on the basis of which the Red Cross Shield was formed in 1922. In the first management of the company, Nikola Blagojević, teacher Stevan Pajić, dr. Emil Kostić, Kuzman Nedeljković, Ćurčija and others. Immediately after the establishment of the Red Cross, the Sid joined a larger number of people who understood the importance and necessity of the existence of the Red Cross. The company's actions became more and more content from year to year.
