Nonprofit Organization Management - Tokyo, , Japan
Doctors Without Borders (Medecins Sans Frontieres = MSF) is a private and non-profit international organization that provides medical and humanitarian assistance activities from a neutral, independent and fair standpoint. The idea is listed as the "Chart". MSF's work aims to meet urgent medical needs. It covers a wide range of subjects, including victims of conflicts and natural disasters, and people who cannot receive health services due to various reasons such as poverty. MSF has 28 offices around the world. The main areas of activity are developing countries such as Africa, Asia and South America. In 2012, approximately 32,000 overseas dispatched staff and local staff conducted activities in 71 countries around the world. We dispatched 62 people from MSF Japan and worked in 27 countries. Almost all MSF activities are made up of donations from the private sector. We are also recruiting staff to be dispatched to the activity areas throughout the year. In addition, we also place importance on testimony and public relations activities that report the current situation of the activity area and convey the voices of patients. We hope that as many people as possible will act with us.
