境 Sakai - Emerging Japanese Art in Italy is a project created and directed by the Japanologist Arianna Bianciardi which aims at the diffusion and the promotion of emerging Japanese artists in Italy through art exhibitions across Italy.The idea comes from the desire to combine the fascination for Japanese art, encouraging its diffusion, with the will to stay in Italy and create something new, holding out against the crisis which, during the last years, led young people to leave for abroad looking for a job.The purpose is to offer a chance to Japanese artists to find a little showcase in Italy, providing assistance services in Japanese, support for arranging exhibitions, promotion and advertising, ensuring at the same time a mutual benefit for Japanese and Italian people.
