-1998 FoundedFounded in 1998, Taiwan Generations Corporation (TGC) is a pure-play energy project development company, which is one of Taiwan's very few. Started out as a consultancy company, TGC collaborated with international energy groups to provide consultancy services on power plant project development in Taiwan. With extensive experience accumulated in energy development, we transformed ourselves from a consultancy service provider t to an energy project developer.-2004 Entered into the offshore wind sectorOn retrospect, from our inception, TGC collaborated with international energy groups and power companies from UK and Japan to assess the domestic Independent Power Producer (IPP) opportunity as their local consultant. The scope of our service included business planning, site selection, feasibility study, economic analysis and execution framework for construction, operation and maintenance, project financing and insurance policy strategies.Throughout the span of our initial consultancy services, we have strengthened our capability and sharpened our expertise in energy business development. Combined with the mission of providing clean energy to the society, TGC entered into the offshore wind sector in 2004, which focuses solely on developing offshore wind farm projects along the west coast of Taiwan.-2013 Grant Scheme AwardTGC's Fuhai Wind Farm is the best-awardee under the Government Grant Scheme. Currently we are working with both local and international renown and experienced experts to deliver the first commercial-scale offshore wind farm in Taiwan, dedicating in localization and creating the best-practice for offshore wind farms in Taiwan. -2017 Zonal DevelopmentTGC is currently developing over 1.5 GW of offshore wind farm projects following Fuhai Wind Farm. We aim to create greater value of offshore wind energy through growing local supply chain and generating efficient green energy.
