컨선월드와이드는 극빈층의 기아와 빈곤 문제해결에 집중하는 국제인도주의단체입니다. 컨선은 인도적 지원과 영양개입을 강점으로 전세계 30개 극빈지역과 분쟁지역에서 극빈층의 삶의 회복을 지원하고 있습니다. 1968년에 아일랜드에서 설립되었으며, 2015년에 아시아 최초로 한국에 지부를 설립했습니다. 주요 사업지역으로는 중앙아프리카공화국, 소말리아, 에티오피아, 시리아, 아프가니스탄, 북한 등이 있습니다.Since its foundation in Ireland in 1968, Concern Worldwide has gone on to work in over 50 countries, responding to major emergencies as well as implementing long term development programmes. Today, with 4,000 staff of 50 nationalities, Concern operates in 30 of the world's poorest countries, helping people to achieve major and long-lasting improvements in their lives. It is no coincidence that Concern chose to open its 5th branch office and fourth country office in Seoul - the first branch office in Asia - in 2015. Republic of Korea is in the unique position of having made the transition from being an aid recipient to an aid donor. With economic success, has come the recognition of a need to help other less fortunate nations and communities.
