The Studio is a creative culinary and media space consisting of a development kitchen and a creative studio, and will be made available to the public on select occasions every month. In the development kitchen, a team of chefs, culinary students and food developers will explore South Africa's unique culinary heritage and ingredients with the aim of developing new dishes for both Restaurant JAN in Nice and Restaurant KLEIN JAN at Tswalu Kalahari. The Studio is also the production space for Jan Hendrik van der Westhuizen and his team's biannual food and lifestyle publication, JAN the Journal.
