The company was privately and locally owned until 2012 when Empire Abrasive Equipment Company in Langhorne, PA aquired Gibson Parts & Equipment. The name of the company changed to Gibson Abrasive Equipment Company LLC.Gibson separates itself in the industry by gaining a deep understanding of what best suits the customer's process and designing a solution to fill the need.
