The word Tāpapa is Te Reo Māori. It usually refers to a prepared seed bed for kumara plants, for us Tāpapa is the prepared seed bed for our hemp brands to flourish - to make a difference to the hauora of our people and our planet. Tāpapa NZ is a purpose driven company, using our strong values and beliefs to guide us in our strategies as well as our everyday decisions. We believe hemp has the ability to impact multiple markets from just a single crop. We want as many New Zealand farmers to have the confidence in the end market. The increasing utilisation of the New Zealand hemp crop into value-added products enables the New Zealand hemp industry and New Zealand farmers to flourish.We are not just a brand that orders a trendy but interchangeable product from a contract manufacturer, wraps it in beautiful packaging and hope for long-term success.
