Sefydlwyd Menter Môn yn 1995 i gyflawni rhaglenni datblygu gwledig yr Undeb Ewropeaidd. Mae'n gwmni trydydd sector gyda bwrdd cyfarwyddwyr yn cynnwys cynrychiolwyr o'r sector preifat, gwirfoddol a chymunedol. Prif nod y cwmni yw hwyluso adfywiad economaidd gwledig yn Ynys Môn. Er mwyn gwneud hyn, mae Menter Môn yn cydnabod pwysigrwydd gwarchod a dathlu adnoddau unigryw a gwerthfawr yr ynys, o'r Gymraeg a'r wiwer goch i'n harfordir trawiadol a'n pobl ifanc galluog. Mae'r cwmni wedi denu dros £40 miliwn o arian grant o ffynonellau amrywiol ar gyfer amrywiaeth o weithgareddau ers ei sefydlu bron i ugain mlynedd yn ôl. Menter Môn was established in 1995 to deliver EU rural development programmes. It is a third sector company with a board of directors made up of the private, voluntary and community sector. Its primary aim is to facilitate rural economic regeneration on Ynys Môn. In order to achieve this Menter Môn recognise the importance of preserving and celebrating the islands unique and valuable resources, from the Welsh language and Red Squirrel, to our stunning coastline and able young people. The company has attracted in excess of £40 million of grant funding from various sources for a range of activities since it was established almost twenty years ago.
