Our mission is to offer a trustworthy and intuitive app for all kinds of content. Content to share with others or to keep private. Where the user stays in full control and with data privacy as a fundament. Without advertisements, trackers, algorithms and fake-news.The idea to start Quodari was born after the various privacy scandals and insights in the downsides of the business model of the big social media players. Which is to maximise screentime of the user to boost advertising revenues.The founders took the initiative for a European alternative.An alternative that is based on the belief that it's not necessary to commercialise personal data and content of users. Our business model is based on other successful examples where users pay for premium functions or storage. Research shows that users are more and more willing to pay for those services. Strategic design agency Laik (from Rotterdam) has joined Quodari to develop the branding, user experience and design. In november 2020, the app was ready for beta-test. Early 2021 the launch in The Netherlands and Belgium follows. After that we plan for a European and global rollout.We are an experienced and international team, with roots in The Netherlands. The development is for a large part done offshore, so we can make speed and control our costs. The Quodari team currently consists of 10 people.
