"Omishtu-Joy" is a startup which is established in Jimma Town, Oromia Region State in the purpose of undertaking entrepreneurial activities at the level of small scale enterprises. As its name indicates "Omishtu-Joy" is a combination of two words. "Omishtu" is an Afan Oromo word which means 'Producer / Farmer'. "Joy" is an English word which means 'Happiness'. As our name indicate we strive for the producer's joy by eliminating productivity barriers or limiting factors which harshlyl affect the farmers (Producers) life. The Startup is planned to carry out activities including innovating, adoption and imitation of new and existing technologies of light to medium duty agricultural devices of various products, fabrication of agritech device, and manufacturing products demanded in the local market.
