We, at Coshal, are working towards engaging small scale artists practising Dhokra art from the interior areas of Bastar, Chhattisgarh. We intend to create a platform from where artisans can get proper guidance by the mentors and can turn their passion into profession successfully. We want to ensure that equal opportunities are provided to the artisans. We plan to widen our reach through the innovation of the artefacts in order to increase their aesthetic value and marketability. We would also like to delve into different art forms across the country and work towards uplifting and empowering the artists in the near future.
