At the John P. & Anne Welsh McNulty Foundation, we inspire, develop and drive leaders to solve the most critical challenges of our time. Founded in 1985, the Foundation's values are informed by both families' experiences as immigrants, and grounded in the importance of opportunity. Our programs support individuals at different stages of their leadership journey, from elevating examples of high-impact leaders through the John P. McNulty Prize, and incubating leadership in students and individuals with great potential through our academic partnerships. The signature program of the McNulty Foundation, the McNulty Prize, is given annually in partnership with the Aspen Institute to celebrate the boldness and impact of individuals who are using their entrepreneurial spirit to address the world's toughest challenges. Laureates receive $25,000, and Winners receive $100,000 and are selected by an international jury that is chaired by Madeleine Albright, and has included Brizio Biondi-Morra, Richard Branson, Bill Gates, Sr, Olara Otunnu, Mary Robinson and Darren Walker, among others. Since 2008, the Foundation has invested nearly $5 million to drive innovation and impact around the globe through the Prize, with awards to 47 Laureates working in more than 25 countries. The Foundation has also dedicated more than $18 million to leadership development among young people, predominantly women, in science, math, business, and other fields. This work is done through McNulty Scholars Programs at St. Joseph's University and Hunter College, which propel young women toward leadership positions in male-dominated fields as well as the Anne Welsh McNulty Institute for Women's Leadership at Villanova University and the McNulty Leadership Program at Wharton.Learn more at www.mcnultyfound.org
