Keep Toledo/Lucas County Beautiful is dedicated to establishing greener communities through environmental education, litter prevention and voluntary partnerships. Our education is primarily focused on improving recycling habits and reducing waste. We partner with the Board of Lucas County Commissioners and the Lucas County Solid Waste Management District, as well as the City of Toledo on green initiatives throughout NW Ohio. Our major initiatives include recycling education for adults, environmental stewardship education for youth, litter reduction and litter cleanups, low impact events (through composting and recycling), reducing single use plastics, community beautification, and more.
