Glasgow's fishiest business since 1989!Things started in 1989 when the restaurant on Dumbarton Road was opened. It's tiny and was a much loved little Glaswegian favourite for many in the city. The company changed hands in the nineties and has been owned since 2002 by Ryan James. In 2004 the second Two Fat Ladies restaurant was opened at 118a Blythswood Street - TFL city centre was born!In 2007 The Buttery ( as it was known then ) was closed after a fire in the kitchen and had been on the market for some months. It was bought, refurbished and opened as Two Fat Ladies at the Buttery along with the bistro in the basement, The Shandon Belles. We provide fresh, locally sourced food cooked with passion and served with Glaswegian style and panache.
