Gemius with its 20+ years of experience in measuring online content and ads is the currency measurement for digital on many European markets. The company operates on nearly 40 markets in the EMEA region with 12 field offices. More than 1000 Gemius' servers distributed around the world track over 250 000 websites across the EMEA region, and in only one second collect around 300 000 hits. Over the last 5 years, Gemius has been developing also cross-media measurement solution based on a single-source panel, enabling the measurement of cross-media consumption and ad exposure. The solution was awarded by prestigious industry awards (IAB Europe Research Awards 2019, 2020, MRS Best Innovation 2019) and successfully deployed this in Germany and Poland in 2019. Gemius' innovation lies in the hardware-panel approach: panelists have meters installed on their smartphone's OS level, hence, allowing for a real passive measurement and data collection; both, in-app and in-browser for mobile media, and with sound-matching technology with referencing signal for traditional media (TV and radio). On both markets under brand "gemiusAdReal" and "gemiusPostBuy" is offering the measurement of cross-media net reach for TV and digital including walled gardens. Our clients are media agencies, marketers and media owners. In Poland Gemius was also picked by Joint Industry Committee (PBI) as a provider of cross-media content audience measurement for digital, TV and radio. Gemius was also picked in the official tender of the National Broadcasting Chamber in the project based on household meters, after receiving great scores in lab-based test comparison.
