Community Associations Institute (CAI) is a national, nonprofit 501(c)(6) association created in 1973 to educate and represent America's residential condominium, cooperative and homeowner associations and related professionals and service providers. The Institute is dedicated to fostering vibrant, responsive, competent community associations that promote harmony, community and responsible leadership. CAI awards professional designations for association managers, works on legislative issues of national importance, researches subjects related to community associations and publishes an extensive library of books, periodicals and brochures related to the industry. A catalog of those publications is available online at www.caionline.org. The New England Chapter of CAI (CAI-NE) is among the largest chapters in the country. With its many volunteer leaders and professional staff, the chapter brings to New England association volunteer board members and homeowners as well as industry professionals and providers of association services, a variety of member benefits including a monthly chapter magazine Condo Media, educational seminars, networking events, publications and a host of other resources designed specifically for the unique challenges facing New England communities.
