FLANP was formed for the purpose of improving access to health care through removal of the legislative barriers preventing delivery of care by Advanced Practice Nurses. FLANP seeks to foster and support respect among all nurses. FLANP will only pursue policies which are in the public interest, and which promote access to affordable quality health care for all Floridians. It is the policy of FLANP to educate the public on health issues and the advanced practice of nursing in order to promote health and contain costs. FLANP seeks to work collaboratively with other corporate, governmental, nongovernmental, and professional organizations toward the accomplishment of our mission.
