We are an agribusiness that provides end to end solutions for gathering, storing and reporting remote sensor data. Our origins are in Tasmania – a place where we pride ourselves on our smart connected community. Our primary focus is water management solutions in agriculture. We are using the latest data acquisition technologies to provide farmers with the information they need, when they need it.The FarmPulse 'Why' Because on farm information will drive more efficient agriculture. To source this information, farmer's need simple, practical, technology solutions that work. The FarmPulse 'How'By using advancements in both remote data transfer technology and cloud based data management, we can provide practical, simple, on farm information gathering and interpretation. We will be using the latest technologies designed for the "Internet of Things" such as LoRa radio to provide cost effective, reliable data transfer from a wide range of on farm sensors. Combined with the information gathering we provide cloud based data storage, analytics and user interfaces for both desktop and mobile devices. Our model is in part subscription based. We believe that the future is in being able to provide constantly improving information analytics and reliable ongoing service. This can't be done with the old model of selling a piece of hardware with software that quickly becomes outdated. A subscription model drives us to continue improving the value we provide our customers. We want to provide a solution that allows farmers to start small and build as much and as quickly as they want. Our system uses central bases that gather data from hundreds of nodes and then forward that data to the cloud. A base station may cover only one farm or it may gather data from many farms. There is nothing more certain than advancements in technology changing the way we will do this in the future. Our aim is to make these future transitions as seamless as possible for our customers. Because we are farmers, we understand the need to provide simple solutions that work and last. We also understand that our customers need to trust the people they are dealing with and that these people really understand the local farming enterprises.
