The Ministry of Municipal & Rural Affairs (MoMRA) is the central governmental organization entrusted with the oversight and regulation of municipalities across the country's cities, towns, and villages. MoMRA is currently leading the development of the municipal sector through the 4-year Municipal Transformation Program (MTP): a sector-wide, across-the-board overhauling and upgrading of municipal performance nationwide.
