Rockland Bakery was established over 75 years ago, as a small retail bakery, in Rockland County, New York. In 1986, the Battaglia Family purchased the bakery. The family of 5 brothers and their father used their experience, combined talents, and passion for baking to mold the bakery into what it is today, The Premier Bakery in the Northeast. The Battaglia family is dedicated to providing quality baked goods and outstanding customer service. Their dedication and commitment has been the reason they have been successful in maintaining the majority of their customer base and are enjoying continued annual growth. Our customers are a true testimonial to our capabilities. Rockland Bakery started with one small bakery and one truck. We now have 5 baking facilities in the NY & NJ area. We posses a fleet of over 100 vehicles, that deliver fresh baked products and over 200 routes in six states. To facilitate distribution on these routes Rockland operates eight distribution centers servicing: New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, and Delaware. We currently have a diverse line of products to service the different demographics in the many regions we supply with our baked goods. We support customers from many areas including food service, small cafés, hotels, and corporate institutions to name a few. And, we continue to grow. Rockland is the preferred vendor for many of the major food service management companies including Aramark, Compass and Sodexo. You can also find our products at your favorite events. We service Yankee Stadium, Citi Field, Sands Casino Pa, West Point Academy and Rutgers University to name a few. Recently our growth has become even more significant with the addition of more manufacturing facilities and new products. In 2006, the Battaglia brothers purchased Pechter's Bakery in Harrison NJ. In 2010, Rockland purchased Sabrett Baking. The following year in 2011, Rockland acquired Voila Sweets located in New York City. Rockland Bakery combined with all three of these acquisitions ...
